Freeze it! Small portions in ice cube trays.
@Katherine, in ice cube trays? Hmm, for teething?
Ice cube trays so you can pop out a portion as you go - I keep some in the fridge for a few days and freeze the rest so it doesn’t go to waste x
I make it all on one day, then freeze it in a tray like the one mentioned above. when I’m ready to use it, it out it in a container and let it defrost overnight or if it’s last minute, i either put in in a container and put it in my bottle warmer on the food setting, or I just mash up a banana or avocado and use that! this is my second, so sometimes we just do what we gotta can with the toddler running around haha
Thank you ladies. Yes we are trying one veggie a week per pediatrician request and I’m freezing the rest. I will try the ice cube. Thank you.
I cut all the vegetables in small cubes, place them in ziplock bags (the portion size you plan to give) and when it’s time to cook you just get it out and boil it. I make fresh bags every 3-4 days
I’ve only made 1 baby food puree. I made a seafood puree for my little dude. I poured it into several breastmilk bags and froze it.
