Autism (DLA advice)

Hi so some advice .. my daughter is 3 she goes to nursery (not in school) so nursery pointed out some things .. 1. She doesn’t play with other children 2. She’s not talking properly (says about 50 words individually can’t put more than 2 words in a sentence) 3. She doesn’t like anything wet on her hands 4. She won’t potty train 5. She doesn’t do eye contact 6. If someone’s in her space like touching her stuff she freaks out 7.wont eat wet foods 8. Can’t have her food touching My health visitor says she’s showing signs of autism but is it enough to apply for DLA as her nursery have pointed it out as well .. idk if it is I’m really confused thank you for any advice or comments

Ye it is.. my sons got ADHD and school pointed it out and I get DLA and carers allowance for him x

And he's 6 , he will be 7 this time x

I’m nervous to apply haha xx

How come. Just ring them, they will send you a form out. U fill out and they will get back to u in 15 weeks . Thats how long mine took x.

My daughter who is 3 hasn’t been diagnosed with autism we are currently go through one but I applied for DLA sent in all the evidence I had from any of the health professionals and she was awarded. Hope this helps x

U can apply it is taking them along time to get back to people tho. My sons are very similar tho thay have melt downs and being told what too do. My nearly 4 year old is now potty trained at home but struggles at school still. Night mare. But we've just been rewarded my sons one who's nearly 4 took 4.5 months took them about 18/19 wks I've been waiting for my other sons who hardly ever sleep and we are now at 22 wks since we phone for the form filled in and sent bk so the wait is long up too 6 months my 4 year old his waiting for his assessment and my nearly 2 yr old is seeing peds in few months for an early Diagnosis which as been a fight from me health visitor and now his nursery has his melt downs are next level
