Constant judgement

Anyone else completely fed up with family members putting in their opinions and advice and constantly feel judged and criticised. Ironically it’s not my parent but my mother in law and step mum (partners side). I find it infuriating! Don’t get me wrong I am a first time mum with an 8 month old and I understand things have changed over the years but I’m following guidance and the classes I’ve attended to ensure I’m doing everything I can and correctly too. It’s making me really dislike his side of the family and I just feel like I cannot do anything right Help

People will talk no matter what you do or how you do it. I just choose to ignore them because honestly everyone just likes to talk like every baby the same and all the babies are different so just follow your instinct and don’t listen to anybody else,

Going thru it as well with my side smh

You know what your child needs and you are doing amazing mama! You’re the one who knows what each little cry means, the one up throughout the night with them, and the one they always want to turn too. Don’t let anyone, family or not, tell you how to love, raise, or guide your child in this world. Stand up for yourself queen, you got this!

yes! i’m feel like i’m constantly being criticised by my partners mother and gran. comments on how he’s being picked up, held. his gran even told me to stop buying him clothes. it’s really frustrating because they have had their children, they’ve done it. this is my turn and my child. i know what he needs and i will buy my child what i wish. it seems to be a very common thing with in-laws :(

I went through the same thing with my son. It took me awhile but the moment I put my foot down, I felt so good! 💪🏻 people always have something to say, but aren’t the ones actually putting in the work it takes to raise our children! We’re all strong mama’s! Don’t forget that!

Yep, I've been through this before and had cut them off before. I did no contact with them.

I have learned to say thank you with a smile on my face and then ignore what they said
