When my child started nursery we was in the same boat I just see it as there dressed smart they look good and clothes will get dirty either ways and I would switch it up with some cheaper clothing from Asda or something
U could get second hand clothes just for nursery or get cheap but nice clothes for nursery. I got my daughter cheap clothes just for nursery x
Go on vinted! Get some age appropriate nursery bundles. We do joggers, jumper/sweat, long sleeve top (and coat, hat, waterproofs, wellies, boots) in winter and a mix of leggings/shorts/long tops/tees/dresses/sandals/hat in summer. My daughter likes to express herself a little at nursery (ie. sweatshirt with bunny on or miffy sweat set) and I guess so do her friends so maybe do be a little more adventurous for them! I would not send in anything youâre not willing to come home stained because I guarantee they will. What do the other kids there wear? Have you seen the vibe on a show round? IMO I wouldnât do school uniform if nobody else does they might feel out of place and awkward.
We just buy Primark clothes for nursery at ÂŁ2 top and ÂŁ5 for a pack of leggings I don't mind if they get paint on, she also wears them again stained
I was in a similar position and just got a load of multipacks from George or primark things!
I wouldnât do uniform but just get a cheap bundle from eBay or fb marketplace or Asda or primark.
My boy has a âuniformâ of plain t shirts and joggers for nursery. All supermarket / primark stuff so doesnât matter of it gets ruined, which it often does.
We have nursery clothes and nice clothes. They are going to outgrow all of their clothes anyway. You can prepare two sets with what you already have or buy more clothes just for the nursery. But a school uniform for a place where no one wears a uniform would be weird.
We have seperate nursery clothes and âweekend clothesâ. Nursery clothes generally charity shop/second hand that I donât mind if they get stained or ruined.
No it's not crazy, my eldest was non uniform and I would think daily..... What to dress him in etc - Headache....! My middle child now attends nursery and they jabe a uniform it's sooo much better and I'm organised!!! There's nothing wrong with having smart clothes, if anything it will prepare lil one for big school, Also showing you take pride and set a good example for others! You could even let her wear leggins from time to time with a black hoodie etc x
