Hungry baby!

So I started my baby with purées since about 4.5m because he was interested and ready. I’ve now added more solid foods. And no matter how much solids he eats, he continues to drink the same amount of breastmilk. I know “food before one is just for fun” but even after I’ve fed him, if I begin eating anything, he will literally yell and follow my spoon and wants me to give him some too. Anyone else’s baby a foodie already?

Same here, how often is your baby breastfeeding?

How many times a day are you offering food. Just curious. She has been doing well with her solids and I do dinner but I want to know when should I add a snack or meal

I’m doing lunch and dinner. We are doing purees for now. But he continues to take milk as well. Even after he just ate/fed, he shows interest in any food he sees but there’s no way he is still hungry lol

@Wendy you doing solids or milk first? Any issues with spit up? She was eating banana once BLW style and she spit up all her milk because of her gag reflux

@Olta he still feeds about every 3-4hrs

@Brooke usually whenever I eat. I only started him once a day to taste different vegetables and fruits, but he yells at me when I eat so I just started feeding when I eat too. So like in the morning he will have breastfed and I sit him up in his high chair in the kitchen while I prep my breakfast and he still eats plenty of solids after his milk. I haven’t had any issues with him spitting up

My 6 month old gets solids 3 times a day(roughly 2oz per serving) she also still has just as much breast milk as she did before she started solids. But at night she does sleep 5 to 6 hours which is amazing 😁

@Brooke he has reflux so he does spit up a lot, but whenever he has solids the spit ups actually reduce. We do milk first
