Baby monitor?

Do you still have a baby monitor in your 3 year olds room? Our son recently expressed he is afraid of the camera. A couple weeks have passed of us explaining that the camera is good and showing him how we can check on him with our phone. He wakes up crying every night and struggles to fall asleep due to being afraid of it. I think its time to get rid of it, but that gives me so much anxiety just thinking about it..!

I still have one but she hasn’t said she’s afraid of it 😥 I guess if it really bothered her and I couldn’t get her to understand it was to see her and make sure she was ok maybe I’d remove it. Is there something specific about it that scare him? Maybe it has a light like ours does that makes him think it looks scary???

I recomend leave the baby sleeping together in your room until 5 years old I have small bed in my room for my daughter she sleep so happy she love see the monitor and cameras she want to take to play

So ours has two red lights on it.. he says they are like eyes. We tried covering them up with stickers and it didnt really help

We do, because our 3 and 4 year old share a room and I don't always trust them lol. The only thing they are afraid of is when I talk through the microphone so I just don't do that anymore. They still sometimes wake up at night from a bad dream or whatever. And the little one can't really open the door yet. So we'll probably keep it a while longer just to be able to hear them but I'd think in the next year or so they won't need it anymore.

Yes, I figured it was the lights, ours does the red lights at night when it’s records, maybe show him how it records during the day and let him see it 🤔
