Roseola vs measles

Anyone go through the same thing? My baby had a fever for two days straight starting Monday. Friday he developed a rash that’s itchy 😖 I took him to urgent care and they suspect roseola but everything online says it’s not supposed to itch but a measles rash is. He has not other symptoms other than fussy especially through the night and the red itchy spots. We have gone to urgent care twice and I really want to take him again as the rash is spreading. Any one has some insight?

I don't know anything about this but I would say trust your gut. I'd for sure talk to the babies doctor and fill him in. They might be able to do more than urgent care. The doctors might be able to get your baby some cream or ointment or something to help. But ya if I were u I'd contact the doctor for sure even if you take the baby to urgent care again still let the actual doctor know and they might know more since it's a doctor for babies and they know your babies normal more than urgent care

also if it's warm weather in your state again try giving him a plain water bath/soak to help make sure the sweat and stuff is off. If you have breast milk maybe you can add that to the water. But I would use lotion and soap, anything scented and least as possible untill you know what's going on.

Yes he saw a pediatrician at urgent care Saturday who said likely roseola but his rash has just spread more and is itchy. We did get told to give him Zyrtec for the itchiness so we will be trying that. He is his usually happy self so hoping it goes away soon.
