Parkour cat

Hi, so I have quite a few cats and one rarely comes back home because she likes to be outside and to chill in other people’s gardens. I’ve told my neighbours, if they don’t want her around then to shoo her away otherwise she will keep coming back. I’ve tried to keep her inside myself but she always manages to slip out and then won’t return for very long. But now it’s warmer, neighbours are leaving their windows open (understandably) and she then sneaks inside. Now, there’s plenty of quiet places in our home, and she’s very affectionate with us so I don’t understand why she doesn’t remain with us! I now have my neighbours complaining that she’s in their garden (sleeping) or sneaking into their house.. and I don’t know what to do. We absolutely love her, and she’s soooo friendly (that’s probably why they’re struggling to shoo her away). She has no issues with dogs because we have 2, so she isn’t afraid of the neighbours ones. I honestly don’t know what else we can do, aside from asking my parents to take her on, which I don’t really want to do because we love her and they’ve had so many cats get knocked down on the road of where they live. 😔 (She is spayed before I’m asked).

Is some of your cats house cats by any chance x

@Patricia no, they’re all able to go outside. She only has issue with a certain one but he’s often inside in a part of the house where the dogs are, so she won’t go there. Which means she has the rest of the house to enjoy in peace.

Give me a private message I'll give you a few suggestions x

Do you have room in your garden for a cattery. Build an outdoor area for her but she's caged in. You could also get them things that go on top of your fence and gate that spin to keep her in your garden.

@Kerry hmm my husband did suggest building something for her but I don’t know how well that would go down with her- she likes to climb onto our chimney pot to view the world 😂 It’s a good idea though. We’ve currently built her a little house for outside for her to go into but she’s not worked it out yet. I think the fence things would work better for the neighbours because we don’t have a generic fence or gate (it’s all a bit open and in a state of being replaced- very expensive).

@Kerry that’s wrong, you can’t cage a cat in outside…OP please don’t do this!
