Easter baskets for baby?

Did anyone make Easter baskets for their October baby? I saw a few different moms with similarly aged babies make their LOs Easter baskets. I noticed they included practical things in them such as teething snacks, swimsuits, sunglasses, sunscreen, teething toys, books, etc I love the idea, and I really wanted to do something like that for my little boy But the truth is that we just don’t have any money for that right now. For some reason that makes me want to cry. I had to quit my job after maternity leave ended because I’ve been suffering from PPA, and I constantly catch myself beating myself up about it. Example: If I hadn’t quit my job then we would’ve still had 2 incomes and I probably could have afforded to get him some stuff for Easter 😭💔 I know it’s not a big deal and he won’t remember any of this, but I can’t help feeling guilty about it.

First off, your baby doesn't know. Your baby doesn't need an Easter basket, so don't feel guilty at all. There are plenty of Easters still to come where your child can actually experience and enjoy all the fun that comes with egg hunts and baskets. I did make my daughter an Easter basket ONLY because I have an older child (he's 3) who was getting one and I'm trying to teach him baby sister gets things too and not everything is his 😂!!

I took pictures but didn’t get him anything, I just didn’t seem practical and pointless. He won’t care, and I’d probably be a little disappointed knowing he doesn’t care.
