Is your baby using a spoon yet?
My girl will take a fully loaded spoon and feed herself, but we haven't really worked on her having a bowl of something and practice using the spoon. Is anyone else's baby using a spoon independently?

Same as you. She can handle the spoon and mostly guide it to her mouth if it's preloaded. But she uses her hands if I put food in front of her. Getting her to use a spoon is definitely going to take some work.
Haha okay good to know! I was wondering if it's worth the trouble/mess to teach her now, but sounds like it's okay to wait a bit lol
It’s messy as hell at first lol but he will use a fork and spoon for awhile before switching to hands.

Nah if I put a bowl of anything in front of my baby he just sticks his hands right into it... for fun lol He will eat with a loaded fork or spoon tho just one bite at a time. He tries to stab at things w a fork but hasn't figured that part out yet either
