Daycare concerns

Hey mamas! I'm a first time mom getting mentally ready to send my baby to daycare in September, and I am just feeling so anxious about it. It's likely that baby will be in daycare full time, and I am afraid that I'm making a mistake in sending her. What if my baby is more connected with the daycare staff than her parents? What if they don't change her diaper often enough? What if they are mean and my 1 year old can't tell me? Any advice or insights would be so helpful. I'm driving myself a little crazy thinking about it 😞 Thanks in advance, Danielle

Daycare is a difficult step for all parents. I guarantee your baby will feel more attached to you. And if they are attached to the daycare worker, take it as a great thing that your baby is forming new relationships. ❤️ Follow your gut when choosing the right daycare for your family and never hesitate to speak up and ask questions. The transition is a hard one, not gonna lie... But it's worth it when you feel like your child is happy and you have a good fit. Good luck!

I work in childcare if you want to connect . Have you found her a spot ? Most places allow you to transition the child , by starting with half days then doing full days . As for diaper changes, there are apps and they are required to log it in. As for how she is treated , I cannot say as I don’t work there. But it’s normal to feel nervous my dear.
