Period

I had a baby 10 weeks ago , have only had 1 period since , got diagnosed with pcos back in 2017 when by 1st was 18 months old , periods where irregular, took metformin to help conceive my second, anyone that’s had a baby did your periods start being regular Is it worth start taking metformin again?
