If your going for Harrison go for Harrison don't shorten it to Harry otherwise what's the point in calling him Harrison.
@Sarah my mum is also called Sarah and gets called Sar (pronounced S-AIR) a lot as a nickname, so do you not shorten Sarah where you are? Xx
i think martha and jacob has such a beautiful ring to it 🩷💙
@Sinead i guess maybe other sarahs get "sar" sometimes but I know like 6 other Sarahs and we all have the same complaint of no nickname lol it seems so stupid until other people are talking about theirs and you feel left out
@Sarah i get that! i wish i could get a nickname too! i think you should refer to yourself as “rahrah” 😆 that would be a bad ass nickname for sarah hahaha x
@Sinead that's typically how babies/little kids say Sarah haha Does no one call you "Sin" because that would be so fun
@Sarah hahah no, but tbf my beginning of my name is a “sh” sound pronounced “sh-n-aid” (it’s irish), and i’ve had one ex boyfriend who’s mum nicknamed me shin shin and i love it, even now she still writes on my fb for my birthday and will say happy birthday shin shin 🤣
or i work in childcare and kids who can’t say my name as it’s slightly difficult will call me nade 🤣
i like Martha and Jacob. in terms of Harrison/Harry - just a suggestion, but i love Martha and Harris together for siblings! could still be shortened to Harry if you want to use that as a nickname, but i think it would be less likely for other people to shorten it automatically, as it is already a shorter name. 🤷🏻♂️
I always HATED that my name couldn't be abbreviated to a nickname. Even if you think you'd go with Harry, I'd still say use Harrison as the full name
