Boy names that feel warm and cozy yet strong and sturdy? We typically like something that feels like an underused vintage gym. Certain names just have a warmth to me that I can’t really explain. Some of them we sort of kind of like but are just so popular that they would be weird next to our other kids names. Some of them don’t have the popularity issue but feel too try-hard or are almost unheard of and don’t feel wearable. A few random Names off the top of my head that feel warm but aren’t “it”: Clifford Wilfred Wilford Wilbur Glenn ? Dean Heath Hugo Clyde Ellis Graham Clement/Clemence Harvey Hank Clark Ray Edwin Elmer Ernest Vernon Reid Quinn Otto Otis Rudy Rupert Walter Watson Wallace We already have a son named Clyde. I know it doesn’t get great reviews on this subreddit, but we absolutely love it and it suits him so, so well. To me it feels warm, probably because I have the personal association with a sweet baby, but also I think a lot of the letters/sounds in it seem to drawn me to similar names? But it also feels strong and sturdy because it is simple, recognizable, and easy to spell. I never have to repeat myself when saying his name on the phone with the pediatrician or introducing him to people like I have to with our other son (Warren, who is constantly mistaken for Lauren, Warden, Norris [?], etc,.).
