Premature Labor & NICU

Any mom’s baby delivered at 37 weeks? Can you tell me about your experience.. did baby need any NICU time? Scheduled for a C-section at 37 weeks due to baby HR decelerations… looking to ease my mind into this… 🥺 T.I.A 🤍

37 weeks baby most likey wont go to the NICU unless they are having more issues when they are born my son was 1lb at birth and had to be born because of heart decelerations and other complications

I delivered vaginal at 37 weeks. No NICU. He weighed a little over 5 pounds so we were able to go home the next day with no problems.

37 weeks is considered early term and typically don’t need any NICU time

I gave birth to my daughter at 36 weeks and 4 days. She wasn’t consider premature so I doubt yours would. She was in the nicu for jaundice which isn’t bad as it seems. Just in like a little spa for babies under light therapy

My 35 week old had 5 days in the nicu because he had maconiom. He was perfect!

My first born was delivered thru emergency c section at 36weeks 5days, no NICU time was needed 🙌🏼

My baby was born at 36 week and 4 days and was in the NICU for about 3 days because she had jaundice Once her levels were at a better level they allowed us to go home They said it was more of a precaution to make sure she will be good She was 6lbs

Thank you ladies so much! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I have birth to my 3 son at 35 weeks. No complications. He did stay 24 hrs in the nicu for observation. He did have a little bit jaundice but nothing serious. They considered him a late preemie. He was 5lbs

My friend just had a natural delivery at 37 weeks and baby was full term no nicu needed at 6lbs 14 ozs. My sister in law is 36 weeks and said her doc said her baby is full term. I don’t think you need to worry about nicu at 37 weeks it is considered full term typically.
