I personally think it would make a nice name BUT the potential for teasing/bullying in school is a no-go. Kinda sounds like "no ball" (no balls) & the first 3 letters are literally NOB which I'm sure some kids would have a field day with...at least in the UK 😅
I like it more as a girl name. Not a fan of the nicknames.
