Ideas for baby who needs to gain weight

The title pretty much sums it up. What are some meals you suggest to feed a 9month old to help them gain weight. So far he's gotten sick every time I've tried to add avocado oil in his food.

At 9 months most of their calories should still be coming from milk, could you increase bottle sizes?

My lb has CMPA and dropped to the 0.4th centile, my dietician recommended adding high fats into his diet so if having porridge I’d add teaspoon of his butter/spread into in and I also cooked some of his foods in it too. Avacado as food my lb loved more so than the avo oil! Eggs, cheese, chia seeds - good for adding to a full fat Greek yogurt (or dairy alternative) or porridge x

I had this issue around the same age, lots of pasta and sauce cooked with lots of olive oil for the fat/calories, pouches because he was guaranteed to eat them and the weight was more important than worrying about packet foods, avocado on bread worked well too and he got up in weigh quick :) consuming more of anything is going to increase calories regardless of what it is. He was also breastfed which meant he was at least guaranteed nutrients there.

Oat and banana muffins and porridge fingers are great too. And my little one loved a pasta bake with courgette, peppers, chicken, ham, crème freche, cheese and breadcrumbs a lot the other day. Lots of fats in that. And nut butters on toast

Canned sardine, full fat yogurt, full fat cottage cheese, rice with heapings of butter and mashed avocado, baked sweet potatoes and mashed lentils
