We had to put a deposit down too. Not too much for £75 from admin etc. We booked for full time just to give us the option nearer the time. I also wouldn't necessarily just go for the one closest to you because some are better than others.
@Bethan can you choose full time and then change your mind when it comes to it ? Or would we be tied to the full time ?
The nursery that we chose requires a deposit, which if we don’t take the place we will lose the deposit (£200). We gave a rough idea of the days that we wanted as I wasn’t sure when I was returning from work, and we have only now confirmed the exact days that we need, and they no longer have a place on Wednesdays, so we’re now in a place where we have no childcare for Wednesdays.. so I think it’s worth just having a frank conversation with the nurseries that you have in mind and go over your concerns and situation and they will advise what they can do x
