I'm using the purple Ella's kitchen book, you can get it free if you join boots parenting club. But really just any weaning book will guide you through it. Depends if you want to do puree or baby led weaning or both. Start with once a day in the beginning.
I have an October 2023 baby. We did BLW from day one he had what we ate as a family with modifications. What mummy makes is an excellent family recipe book! Solid starts app is also great for learning how to cut things age appropriately. We did one meal a day to begin with and suffered with constipation issues etc which is normal as their body learns to process food. Slow and steady and follow LO’s lead. You want to be on 3 meals 2 snacks by 12 months it doesn’t really matter how you get there. Milk is their main source of nutrition until that point. At 18 months he’s an excellent eater and nursery always compliment how well he self feeds x
We’ve only recently started in the last couple of weeks. Someone recommended the How to wean your baby book, which has been useful and eased me into it- with options for purées & BLW. We’re just on once a day at the moment, but think we’ll move to twice soon as she’s taken to it well
