I'm getting married and have always dreamed of wearing a red ball gown. I found a dress I fell in love with in the window of a small local quinceanera shop. I am a white woman. Would it be wrong to buy it for my wedding?

What about the dress says quinceanera other than it’s from a shop that sells dresses for quinceaneras? If it’s a red ball gown, it’s just a red ball gown.

It’s your day. Wear a bin bag if you want. Some Guests will talk sh*t about it, even if it was a wedding fit for a Royal. Wear your dress.
It’s just a dress. Just sold in a Quinceanera shop. Who’s to say that same dress is in another normal dress shop or on Shein lol. Buy it!! Try it on and see it on yourself coz they look a lot different on a mannequin!

Cultural appropriation would be if you tried to celebrate a quinceanera without any ties to the culture. But if you liked the dress and were it for your own function, I don’t see why anyone would have a problem
