@Catherine Thank you!! The midwife suggested I go home and wait to be more dilated, had I listened she would have been born in the hallway or the car!! Looking back now all I can do is laugh 😂
@Shanice why do they never believe super quick labours can happen 🤣 they were talking about everything but contractions when I said my pain was getting worse and could I have pain relief that wasn’t paracetamol. glad it wasn’t a car job in the end haha
@Catherine OMG SAMEE! I asked for gas and air and she gave me paracetamol by the time they realised it was happening I couldn’t even do the breath work for gas and air and just done the whole labour in paracetamol 😭 funnily enough, not as bad as I imagined! Was it your first or second pregnancy?

Congratulations! So true about 2nd babies. My boy arrived in 28 minutes! Thankfully I had on my notes to expect a quick labour as my first baby was quite quick too, so I managed to get into the birthing pool as soon as I got to hospital. Enjoy your gorgeous little girl 🥰
Oh wow, and I thought my 6cm to born in 40 minutes was fast! Well done you and congratulations on your adorable little one! Let's pour one out for the midwives who listen and let us get on with it so we don't have surprise car or bathtub babies 😅
