Aww congratulations. Hope you're both doing well. What a little cutie! I remember seeing your post about being exhausted after labouring for some time after having a sweep. I had my sweep yesterday evening and contractions have started this morning 🙃

@Sinead congratulations!!!! Today was my due date. What a gorgeous baby! Hope everything went smooth and you have a speedy recovery.

@Lauren @Shannon i was 39w+4d, i had a sweep done on wednesday by my midwife, contractions started early thursday morning, had second sweep done yesterday morning due to contractions being irregular. they stayed irregular throughout but i continued doing what the midwives said, curb walking, sideways walking up the stairs, figure of 8’s on my ball. then i was in unbearable pain this morning with the contractions, got to hospital at 3:34am and he was born an hour and 10 minutes later lol xxx

@Iona good luck mama, hopefully the process goes quicker for you bcos for me, it was 50 hours of labour if you count when the contractions first started 😭 xxx

@Julia thank you! a rough labour but worth it at the end. he’s my second baby, but my first labour was far easier then this one. hope your baby comes soon! xxx

@Sinead mine actually arrived on the 18th, I had a sweep and 6 hours later I was admitted at the hospital, everything happened really quickly. Now enjoy and hope you can go home soon.

So happy for you, tell your little boy to give mine a nudge. Enjoy every minute, sending lots of love xxxx

@Sinead my little girl didn't wait around. Contractions started 6am(ish) this morning and had her at 1:45 this afternoon :) I had the sweep yesterday evening. We can now enjoy our babies 🥰
