@Paulina Hahaha it’s annoying only because I know it’s true and that I’m kidding myself 🥲😂
Can't blame you, it's really tough those last few weeks, especially when you have no idea what to expect and everyone is so vague about it! I kept goggling how contractions felt like and everyone was like "oh you'll just know". Well, how would I know if I never had them, right? Turns out they were right, there was no doubt in my mind as to what was going on when labour started! 😂 Also, I think the biggest mistake I made was treating my due date as some sort of magical deadline... The 12 days that followed before she was born were probably the longest in my life...
It’s suchh a frustrating waiting game isn’t it 🤣 So so true! I have 0 idea what to expect or what it’ll feel like but I imagine like you say I’ll definitely just know 🥲 Everyone’s stories of how their labour began is so different too which makes it all even more vague and unknown 😭 I’m due to be induced at 41 weeks and I’d like to avoid that if possible so I’m just willing myself to go into natural labour before then 🤞🏻🙄
Paulina is right! As annoying as it is, you will just know and there’ll be no doubt 😅 but yes, the magical due date just makes it even more frustrating when we are fed up and just want our babies. This time round I’m trying to think of my due date as at least a week later than it is to try and squash the disappointment when she doesn’t arrive on time. Good luck and I hope you manage to avoid induction if it’s not what you want! X
It's probably the most annoying thing I could say (I was the same as you with my first and would have found it annoying!) but it's true - when it's the real deal you will know, you won't have to google anything! X
