What's been some of the weirdest or scariest intrusive thoughts you've had since having a baby?!

A persistent one of mine is that I always think I've walked into the door frame holding my baby and the door accidentally hitting my baby...

I have every time i pull out at a junction or am driving along a road with junctions on that someone is goin to hit the car and as i have 2 kids not knowing how to protect them. Tbf i have loads like that & have done since my 1st baby 5yrs ago lol x

i always have a vision I’m gonna get ran over with her in my arms 😭

At the top of the stairs carrying baby I frequently have a flash of us falling down. It started with my first who is now 4 and although it has never happened I still fear it

When my partner isn’t at home ( he works away some days in the week ) I have my 6 month old and my 4 year old in the same room as me.. I have visions that someone is going to break into my home and kidnap my children 😣 literally have nightmares about it all of the time

@Amy same but my partner doesnt work away, i have an alarm and chimes on outside doors (like shops have) so i will know if they are ever opened x

My worst one was when I was pregnant with my first, every time I emptied the dishwasher I had horrificly graphic visions of slipping with the sharp knives and hurting my dog. It was so upsetting. I felt crazy.

I have the door frame one too! Every time I walk through holding him I think what if (cos I’m so tired) I accidentally bumped his head on the door frame. It’s never happened but I always get these thoughts. I feel more anxious driving now as well and going down stairs holding him

Oh my God so this is a thing??!! I’ve had many similar thoughts and they give me the chills and some anxiety tbh, I feel a bit comforted knowing it’s a mom thing because omg🤦🏽‍♀️

@Natalie I got hit sitting at a red light by a drunk driver going 80 in a 40. If I'd been 10 INCHES further from the light my son and I would be dead.

For me it's a home invasion/ someone breaking in early morning/late night when my husband's gone and it's dark. But I have my firearm in a biometric safe in our room and a door I can lock at the top of the stairs behind me. But then what if the intruder hurts my cats?? That'd force me to go downstairs
