Birthday plate
I want to paint my son a plate for his birthday coming up! Has anyone painted one of these at home and if so what did you use and did the paint ever come off?

We have a place you go to paint acrylics and have it glazed and fired in a kiln. It's called U Paint It. Highly recommend, I've been multiple times. Maybe you have one near you or something like it.

I want to do this too 😍 I made a plate for Christmas for 'Santa's Cookies' and I used modge podge spray sealer. I did about 6 coats with plenty of dry time in between just to be safe. I would say don't cut heavily on it and gently wash. Don't put in the dishwasher. Mine has held up fine. I think if you're using it once a year, it should be fine. I washed and dried the plate first, then used rubbing alcohol to make sure it was extra clean & I just used acrylic paint & paint pens for the art.
