Breastfeeding

Hi I’m almost 5 months postpartum I’m nursing and pumping and I’m having trouble with my supply. Before 4 months I had a really good supply I over produced but then I got my period again and I’m only making 2-4 ounces a pump and I used to make 5-7/8 a pump. I drink hot mothers milk tea and lots of water. I eat oats ...

Sucking hands or dummy

Sometimes after the boob, my 9 week old will snuggle on my tummy and suck his hands, I try him on the boob but it's not hunger, it's comfort, is it better to give him a dummy for this? Or his hands? Thanks

2 under 2 soon and scared of breastfeeding 😞

I'm scared that I will not be able to breastfeed baby number 2 as i fear it'll get too much for me to manage a clingy toddler and a baby. I breastfeed first one for 6 months and it took away so much of time in a day. For everyone who did it, how did you manage? I hate pumping but I suppose if I had a hands free one ...

Breastfeeding to sleep

My baby will be 5 months at the end of the month and we are still feeding to sleep, she will not take a dummy or self settle! I love how I’m her only comfort but at the same time it can be difficult. Is anyone else feeding to sleep and planning on trying to stop it? When we decide to she’ll be going in the same room...

Mastitis

I think I might have mastitis in my right breast when I squeeze it it feels like there is something hard in there and my boob has been feeling so so tender and sore for a few days now and too painful to breast feed on at all so I am trying to pump when engotged as that doesn't seem to hurt as much as feeding does - ...

Expressing/Pumping

My baby is in NICU and I’m trying to express as much as I can but I’m expressing smaller and smaller amounts of milk. I’ve tried breastfeeding teas, tablets, eating drinking loads and the amount isn’t coming. Any help with getting my milk amount up? Feeling a bit depleted by it!

Anyone transitioned from (dairy free) breastfeeding to amino acid formula once weaning at 6 months?

How did it go? Did baby drink the milk ok? Was there any issues with trapped wind?

My baby boy is 6 months old now and despite trying more or less every day to get him to accept a bottle, he just has none of it! I exclusively breast feed but would like him to be able to have expressed milk in a bottle too so that I can start to have a little more freedom/leave him for a little longer etc. anyone...

Breastfeeding and baby sleeping through the night

Normally my boy would sleep 4 hours and then 3 hours at night time, but the last two nights he started sleeping for 6 hours and then 3. This has led to me being very engorged and breasts are sore now, I'm scared of it leading to mastitis. What do you guys do when baby sleeps through the night if you're breastfeedin...

My little boy is still breastfed. He starts nursery in Jan (he’ll be 1) and the plan is to give him cows milk rather than pump. What are you using for milk feeds now? Does anyone know what they use at nursery? We use the munchin 360 cups for water - should I use these for his milk too? I know it’s recommended to t...

EBF to formula 5 months…

Are any other EBF mums thinking about making the switch to formula? I feel as though I need some of my independence back, but is this selfish? My partner is very supportive either way and wants to help more. My mental health has been suffering recently but I’m unsure if stopping breastfeeding is the answer. Has ...
