Fitness through Pregnancy
Hi ladies, im currently in my 2nd trimester and found it so difficult transitioning from having full control of my body to non... plus the lack of energy (which is creeping back now)
Pre pregnancy i spent a lot of time working out, my partners a pro athlete, I own a Reformer Pilates studio in Nottingham and also teach yoga.
I am qualified in pre and post natal mat & reformer pilates and have started to put a course together. Would anyone be interested in learning how pilates & breath can help pre & post pregnancy in a safe way for you and baby... and maybe feel like you have worked your body also the next day??
(whilst also connecting, albeit via zoom for now, with local pregnant ladies - we could maybe even have a coffee and chat after...)
I have ran 3 marathons (I am NOT a runner btw!!) and with lockdown thought... maybe a run will be good but the BEST piece of advise I read which I would love to pass on... don't! Running is like a trampoline for baby to bounce on your pelvic floor...makes total sense! It's hard enough giving birth let alone creating our own incontinence problems.
This is my first pregnancy so each day I'm learning, but if you would like to give yourself a little self care and that boost to energy, let's chat and connect below 🧡🧡🧡💃💃💃🥰🥰🥰
