I am dealing with the same thing. My mother in law runs a daycare and my daughter is currently sick. She only goes 2 days a week and I end up getting sick as well. I have a horrible immune system. I'm more mad at the fact that there are kids that are sick and I'm not told about it and she gets sick from them... my daughter and I stay sick for awhile😭 missing a birthday party today for her friend. Or my partners sisters kids are sick and she always brings them around and never tells me,but I can tell they are sick from the snot and coughing. How do yoh deal with this?

Oh it must be so hard for you Mama! 😔 Honestly I dont know how to deal with this anymore! He has not been going to the daycare since last week, and my husband works from home so it’s really overwhelming for him, since I can’t work from home considering the nature of my job. The doctors don’t say much too, they just put him on antibiotics and this being the third time, I feel so helpless and worried.
Meeee!! My son is 18 months too and goes to day care pretty much alternate weeks because it’s either cough, cold, ear infection or hand foot and mouth disease. Everyone tells me it’s common and that’s how they build immunity. It’s extremely stressful to see him suffer with high fever and his lips even turned blue one time and apparently that is ‘normal’. When he’s sick I fall sick too and it’s so tough to take care of him while I’m sick. Then I have to take time off from work and work and take care of him. It’s all very stressful and overwhelming. I feel you! Please reach out if you ever want to talk it out.

Yes, it one of the most stressful times of my life. I can’t even take time off from work with my job being new, so it’s even more emotionally challenging to deal with. What should we do ? 😔
I’m focusing on giving him a balanced diet (when he has an appetite) to build his immunity. I hope it pays off. If your husband can handle your son while he works from home then we’ll and good. If he needs your help then maybe you can be upfront with your employer and work part time or take time off when you need to.

My little one is a picky eater, he only eats lentils and rice. Yes, I think working part time would be something I can consider. Tbh, I enjoy going to work, as much as I love being a mom, that disconnect helps me regain my emotional strength.
That’s a healthy diet. Just smash in some veggies and done!
Kids definitely get sick a lot in daycares but three ear infections already? I would get a second opinion. That sounds like maybe something else is going on.
