Low AMH and high FSH/LH

Hi all. My fertility specialist has referred me to a more experienced Dr to start (?) IVF (First appt on Tuesday with new dr) as I have low AMH (3.9pmol or 1.7ng) and my fertility markers are high (ie FSH 15-21) and my current specailist says my ovaries are working hard. I'm wondering if they are going to straight up suggest donor egg or wether I will get a chance to try ivf with my own eggs. Has anyone been in a similar situation and had success with IVF? I'm 34 turning 35 at the end of Dec and have yet been pregnant. We have been trying 10mths. Partner passed all his checks, it's just me. I feel so guilty 😔

*she has referred me to a more experienced ivf specialist as I'm a bit too " complicated ". We were initially thinking we just needed to do iui*

The current specialist has had me do a karyotype test which still waiting on results for. I'm thinking she's looking at perhaps Turners Syndrome ?

Hi 👋 I was diagnosed at 35 with diminished ovarian reserve (low AMH) and went straight to IVF. Have been trying for 4 years with my own eggs. 12 rounds of IVF. I’m happy to chat more with you in private messages if you like.

@Annie will pm you x

Hi Alysha, they should still encourage you with your own eggs. I hope the appointment goes ok. Annie I’m sorry to hear you’ve gone through 12 rounds of IVF, hopefully the next one will be the one 🤞. x

@Poppy thank you for the reassuring words. One more day to go 🤞
