@Emma congratulations! 🥳🥳 I want to try the shettles of babydust method too for a girl but how do you figure out exactly when your ovulation is?
@Alice thank you! 🥰 I used ovulation tests for 2 months before we started trying to get an idea of roughly when I ovulated in my cycle. Then we tried for a 3 day cut off but I ovulated late so ended up being 5 days, but I miscarried that time. Got pregnant the next month with a 2.5 day cut off! Although it wasn’t perfect baby dust method as for a girl you’re only supposed to have 1 BD whereas we had 2, once 5 days before ovulation and once 2.5 days before x
Oooo this is promising!! This month we BD’d just under 3 and 2 days before I started to get an LH surge and 2.5 days before my peak so I think that’s maybe 3 or so days before ovulation 🤞🏼 currently 6dpo so reassuring to hear it can happen! I always think these methods must massively reduce chances of conceiving xx
That sounds good!! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 yeah I thought the same, that’s why the next try we didn’t stick to it so rigidly, after a loss we just wanted a healthy baby so decided not to worry as much about gender! Xx
Yeah I completely understand that. Did you try and sway for your son? So far I don’t have any symptoms so I’m not super hopeful for this cycle haha xx
No we didn’t sway with our first but we did secretly want a boy! But now I’ve looked up the methods it makes sense as we BD’d after I had my positive ovulation test! You never know, there’s still time yet xx
