Strong Urine Smell
I’ve noticed that lately my baby’s diapers have a strong urine smell—smells like old urine that has been left for days—and I’m not sure if it’s the diaper amplifying the smell. Initially I thought it was bc it was from overnight pee, but even during the day it smells like that. I change his diaper frequently throughout the day and when he wakes at night I change him. Not sure if it’s the brand of diapers (Huggies) or if I should be worried he has a UTI, but he’s not acting like anything is wrong. Anyone experienced anything similar?

Following because I’m having the same experience- I thought of dehydration, but the pee doesn’t have any color at all. I would assume it would be darker if he weren’t drinking enough.
My baby loves asparagus and the pee smell when he eats them is noticeably strong, could definitely be the food.
My baby started solids and her pee starting smelling strong as well!!
My pediatrician said that a circumcised male baby has a less than zero percent likelihood of getting a UTI.. That was reassuring to me.
