At 5 months they still need sterilising is there a kettle in the room? Xx
I would check with the hotel to see if they have one that you can use. They may have one in a common area of the hotel that would be available. I traveled a lot for my job and was pumping for my first child. I have had hotels bring up a small refrigerator if the room didn’t have one. They may be able to do the same with a microwave. I am not sure if you had spoken to the hotel directly. They may be able to help you out.
@Emma in the US, the guidelines are sterilizing until 3 months old.
Milton tablets?
milton do cold water steriliser tablets - just need to wash them then soak for 15min (i think) in container
@Kim that’s what I was thinking too! They must have one somewhere in the hotel that you can use for just a few minutes to clean the bottles :)
Or you could buy a portable UV steriliser. Nuby produces one: https://www.boots.com/nuby-uv-steriliser-bag-portable-10291920?cm_mmc=bmm-buk-google-ppc-_-PLAs_HeroCompare-_-Baby_Accessories-_-UK_Smart_Shopping_Baby_Accessories&gclid=CjwKCAiA2rOeBhAsEiwA2Pl7Q2D40vqTKS63LnZWW9YqKv1Z7MkDWwtFVHL7GM2bVWfSSP90L7bmExoCZFEQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
You don't have to sterilize lol if your baby is healthy and in good standards then don't worry about sterilizing as long as you wash them .
No need to travel and buy extra things
I’m in the US and I’ve never sterilized a bottle ever. Warm soapy water will do just fine.
I just clean my bottles in hot soapy water when we travel. As long as you clean the bottle between uses, it should be fine.
