When to start buying baby stuff

I bought stuff throughout so I didn’t have to spend a whole bunch at the very end. I bought close every so often when I found something I like. I also waited until my baby shower/Christmas for things. But you could buy whenever I would spread it out though to not spend it all together

I’m buying small things each week, then once I get to 15-20 weeks that’s when I’m looking at big stuff

I waited until after my baby shower at 7 going to 8 months pregnant when I started buying stuff. But my family members bought stuff throughout the pregnancy. We’re also a bit superstitious lol

Buy whenever you feel comfortable doing so. We didn’t buy anything much until I was about 30 weeks pregnant (he came at almost 42 weeks) and it was fine. This time round we have most stuff but I’ve bought a couple of little bits earlier.

We got some of our bigger items pretty early, but lots of little things throughout and then we're having a baby shower around 7 months so we have a couple of months to get the last things before the baby gets here. I've had quite a few people being superstitious, but my thoughts are that we would try again if anything were to happen so it would always be worth it. I really hope nothing would happen, but don't let that take over so that you're not excited!! It's such a fun and exciting time.

I started buying around 18-20weeks (I’m 23 weeks now). I wanted to keep an eye out for sales on big ticket items and not be pressured at the end of my pregnancy to buy things full price because I missed out on a sale. Also, gives me time to scout out Facebook marketplace for other things. I say do whatever you’re comfortable with!

I didnt start overly early think in January and we found out in end of September. Just bits at a time as don't want to fork out loads at once x
