@Milena it said it can cause brain swelling if given to much but that’s comforting to hear

Try not to worry or stress. If it was a small amount it wont harm her, just be mindful to avoid giving her it in the future. It's not good for babies overall but a sip wont do her harm. If your worried talk to a GP

A few sips of a one off accident is extremely unlikely to do any harm. It depends how old they are, but I think they have to drink over a fluid ounce before water toxicity becomes a concern.

My doctor literally told me to give my son water to help with constipation ! Don’t worry

A couple of sips won’t do any harm, especially if they’re formula fed. If it was several oz that’s a different story.

If it was less than an ounce you should be fine. I used to give my baby a few drops to help with constipation around 5-6 weeks. Shes healthy and turning 1 in two days ❤️❤️

I did this when my little one was around 7 weeks old, give dad a bottle without formula mixed during the middle of the night, then realised what I'd done and he'd taken an oz of it. He did a good poo the next day 😂 HV also advised a small amount of water throughout the day (total less than Oz) as he was really badly constipated as a newborn then would have huge blowouts (now diagnosed as CMPA)

My LO swallowed some bath water yesterday and he’s almost 2 months. I freaked out but he’s totally fine. It happens

You’re fine mama. Don’t worry.

That just happened to me rn my 2 months old I was half asleep and fed her water and I was checking to see where she was at and I couldn’t see the milk so I checked and it was water she drank 1 and a half ounce so I fed her milk right away and seeing the online stores scare me but I hope she’s okay and I am sorry I did this
