My appointment showed up on my online notes first, then I received my later several days later. It did say online where it was though.. mine was at a children’s centre, though not my closest one. Only some of them are set up for it. Does it say which group/area of midwives?
0151 702 4352 ring this number and option 2 instead, it’s the appointment line for womens and they’ll be able to tell you. I’m almost certain no one ever answers the community midwife line😂 x
Actually, I’m getting confused, I never got a letter for my booking appointment, it turned up after for my 12 week scan appointment. Definitely keep chasing the community midwives
@Siobhan yeah the appointment date and time has been on there since a few days after I first registered about 3 weeks ago, but there’s definitely no location and haven’t had any letters. It says it’s the Sycamore team x

I’m sycamore team and had it at Clubmoor children’s centre. If you don’t get anywhere I can try asking my midwife what you should do. Have you left an answerphone message? Do your notes say who your midwife is?
@Siobhan yeah I left a message yesterday and have rang a couple of times since then too with no answer. It says my midwife is Claire Lyon. I’ve just had a look online and it says the office is open until 11 tomorrow and Sunday so I will keep trying them over the weekend x
Yeah, keep trying. It’s pretty rubbish. 😔
Hiya, don’t know if you’ve seen or not but on the lwh website it has contact numbers for all the community midwives. If you know what team you’re under maybe try calling the team leader of that team? https://www.liverpoolwomens.nhs.uk/our-services/maternity/your-antenatal-care/community-midwives-contact-information/ I’ve found ringing the generic numbers never really gets you anywhere unfortunately 🙈 xx
This is a good idea though it might be out of date. I can see it was Sycamore North 2 I’d be under because I recognise the names from my previous pregnancy but my current midwife isn’t on there, nor is the other person they said I might see. My midwife mentioned there’d been a change around too. Really hope you get somewhere tomorrow!
Hey, I had a nightmare with my community midwife booking appointment back in July as my gp surgery didn’t have a community midwife that held a clinic there. That meant I was sent to kirkdale from south Liverpool as that was the only appointment available. Your community midwife apps will usually be at your gp surgery so try there.. also community midwife phone line is only until 4pm so bare that in kind too xx
