My little boy has started doing huge poos when he's half way through a feed to. He also seems to be more settled but passing wind a lot more too since he started infacol x
Sorry to jump on this post and ask a question. But I was wondering whether in practice you give your babies infacol every single feed or whether just some of them?
@Lizzie I only do some of them because my little boy is EBF and does on average around 20 feeds in a 24 hour period so I think that would be massively excessive. If he was formula fed and was having say 5 bottles a day I’d probably use for all of them. I just use it when I feel like he’s starting to squirm or I haven’t managed to her a burp after a couple of feeds x
@Lizzie my baby is bottle fed expressed milk and she probably has around 8 feeds a day, ive been giving her infacol every other feed and its helped her so much! I decided to do every other feed because I didn't want to feel like I was plying her with medicine, very happy with how much its made a difference x
Thanks @Gemma and @Sunnie I breast feed him but he always seems to be a little constipated but wasn’t sure whether to give it to him every feed as it does seem like a lot. I really appreciate the advice x
I’ve noticed the same. Since giving the Infacol, he doesn’t make one big poo, but few small ones during the day.
So I didn’t think Infacol was meant to affect their poo’s but when I give my little boy a dose he does seem to have a huge poo during that feed. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence but he definitely seems to be doing more since starting it! Xx
