Tommee tippee electric steriliser

Its a few years old but was bought brand new and never used till 6 weeks ago. Worked amazing till I forgot the water today

I’ve done this before, but for me I just put water in it and turned it back in and it was all good. I’m assuming you have tried this though? X

Might just need to change the fuse in the plug as I imagine it's blown as a safety feature. Don't worry about it, I'm sure you're not the first or last to do it! Have a wee look on YouTube or something as well as there may be a separate heating element fuse that needs changed too

I did this about 14 years ago forgot the water.. I ended up burning the heating element out 😩 so had to get a new one. If it turns out to not be something you can fix could you maybe look on Facebook marketplace or the free sites to see if you can get a 2nd hand one? X

Thanks everyone. I'm going to try and get a new fuse. If that's not fixed it, I'll have a look on Facebook. If not I'll have to see if I can get a microwave one as I've been told they are cheaper then the whole electric unit

I’ve not forgot to put water in but one day ours just stopped working and wouldn’t power up Turns out this is a common fault in the tommee tippee electric sterilisers We purchased a microwave steriliser after and it is so much easier and easier to clean

You could also try contacting the manufacturer to see if there’s something they suggest as well!

Mine did this and didn't work until it had cooled back down to normal temperature, have you tried it again after cooling? X x
