I’ve always just sterilised them and used them straight away x
@Jemma I've been doing this too, just shaking off the excess water and it's been ok so far. I have a friend who does that too and all has been ok but recently I've been questioning myself!
I usually just shake off the excess water as well x
@Nicole good to know xx
@Milly thanks! X
@Jemma we just do this
Oh I used to dry them initially (when every6needed to be oerfect and lack of sleep didnt hit me in the face) but after a while I just gave up and just shake the water off. So far baby seems alright 😉
I just tip out the remaining water
@Andrea how did you dry them? Air-dry or with a cloth? X
I have either air dried them on the dish rack or shook the water out an used them straight away I wouldn’t dry them with a cloth as they won’t be sterile any more
I used cold water sterilising for my MAM bottles and never dried them because it said you dont need to 🤷🏼♀️
You can get sterilisers with a drying feature now which I never understood as I always saw them used straight from the steriliser.. the whole idea of sterilising the item means the water is also sterile now so why does it make a difference? I’m getting a UV steriliser and I guess they will still come out wet but never thought I’d need to dry them
@Shaynie this is what I thought too! The Tommee Tippee bottles can be used wet if they have been sterilised too.
@Caz thanks! I only ask as I saw that it said they should be dried but I've not been doing that and have been ok so far

@Sarah i have this too! I LOVE it haha
Well I didn’t know this! I’ve always sterilised them and then left them on the worktop as they are. Shake off excess water and assemble before using them. Done that for a year and my little boy is fine!!
i just either shake them out and use them immediately or air dry them if not needed right away. sometimes if they are really wet i’ll use paper towel 🤷🏼♀️
@Jayna with a paper towel 🤡 didn't even known if it was good or bad.
I think you are supposed to air dry them. I just give the excess water a shake off and use them though and we have been ok
