@Emma also how long after using it can you use it again? the reset time confuses me. Do you have to wait 3 hours for use even after cold water sterilising??
Yes three hours as it has to cool down
Does it need sterilising if used the hot shot way? I haven’t been as I assumed no need as it’s just water
@Hodan i was going to sterilise once a day
@Jade ok, let me buy those sterilisers! I haven’t been doing so 🙈🙈 Didn’t realise
I use my tommee tippee steam steriliser at night to do the flask and hot soapy water and a bottle brush to get into the groves on the lid. Inbetween I use soapy water and bottle brush as you're always adding sterile boiled water to it during the day. I have 3, I bought just the rapid cool and then when I realised how handy they are, I bought thr set with 2 and a flask. You can pick used ones up on vinted for around £15/20 if you want more than one x x
@Alex so flask in the steriliser and the lid just washed with water and soap, right?
@Hodan yeah that's what I've been doing for the past couple of months with no issues, they say that you can sterilise the lids in the Milton cold water steriliser and the flask in an electric one. I also just wash with soap in-between uses during the day (as the hot water will be sterile for the next bottle) and only sterilise them at the end of the day x x
@Alex ok sounds good, thank you xx
@Alex hey how do you fit the flask in the Tommee tippee steam steriliser? It doesn’t fit in mine x
@Rasha excuse my clutter, to tired to have a spotless kitchen atm x x
@Emma does this mean if I just put water in the flask and do the hot shot like you don’t need to sterilise it after every use as it hasn’t had formula in just do it at the end of day?xx
Cold water sterilising works well and your only ever putting in boiled water so it’s always clean enough. I don’t ever make the formula and cool it, I do the hot shot way and cool the rest of the water so the rapid cool could be used more than once if needed.
