Strong urine or discharge smell postpartum?
About 5 weeks postpartum and things are smelling….weird down there. I’ve stopped bleeding but usually have a teensy bit of pale yellow discharge still each day. I’ve noticed that either that, or my urine has started to smell extremely strong this past week. If you’ve worked in the healthcare industry, it smells like days old urine. It’s not pleasant. I don’t feel bad or have any signs or infection. Just wondering if any of you ladies who delivered vaginally have anything similar going on?

I just saw my midwives they told me the lochia (may be wrong spelling) it’s the blood and discharge we shed after birth smells BAD. it’s not infection related it’s simply after birth you are still shedding. i was told if at 6/8 weeks things don’t smell right come back. Though I got checked for every infection and there was nothing!
I’m in the same boat. Not sure if it’s UTI cause I don’t feel burning while urinating. I should do sitz bath maybe it would help!

I would definitely still get checked for infection. Better safe than sorry!
