We also have a cat who’s taken to jumping in the crib before Baby’s even here!! Would love to see some suggestions!! 🙂🤞🏻
Following for the tips also, I have 2 indoor cats who love sleeping in the bed with me and my partner and have no idea what I’m going to do
I also have an indoor raggie he sleeps next to me in bed and have no plans to kick him out. I had my health visitor come round and she said to pop the crib up the month before and whatever I do not to buy a net as they can be more dangerous! Xx
I could have written this myself! I am the same, I want a nice and easy home with no cat howling at night xx
@Anna I just looked at these but we already bought our snuzpod 🤦♀️ so annoyed I didn't find it earlier!
@Meg 🤦🏻♀️
I put foil the first few times they jumped in and they never went back in x
Just want to reassure you. When I was pregnant I was looking into something like that, but I found out it wasn’t safe for the baby. We have 2 cats, the youngest - female - was 1yo when baby was born and we were sleeping together since she was 3mo (she’s always been with me everyday all day because she arrived just before lockdown and I never went back to work bc I was pregnant and it wasn’t safe. When the baby arrived the cats stayed away from her (cats don’t like babies as they move and make sudden noises). The female cat kept sleeping next to my pillow, the male was sleeping at our feet, the baby was sleeping in a next-to-me and the cats when to sleep in there only when the baby wasn’t there. So no issues at all!
@Naomi we had a spare room... But it's now been turned into the nursery! They've got everything they need downstairs they just enjoy our bed lol. We've spoilt them for far too long 😂
@Leah oh god really! Did she say why? My concern of putting it up early is the cats nesting in there when we're not home 😩 x
@Hannah stressful isn't it! I'd feel like I'd be abandoning my babies before my actual baby is here 😂😩 x
Chicco next to me do one specifically for their bedside sleepers (it also fits some others) which we used and it is sturdy. The canopy has wires of some type that is pretty hard to invert. They haven't had any interest in getting in his proper cot, they just sometimes go underneath but again, when he isn't in it. They are great with him but they keep a safe distance when we aren't holding him.
I was so worried about our two house cats jumping into the bassinet with baby. But as much as they enjoyed it before she was born, they're are totally uninterested and slightly scared of our 8 week old girl and apart from Casper sleeping in it when she's not, they've not gone near her at all. We got some nets we found on amazon but haven't used them for the bassinet, instead for the pram to keep people from peering in!
@Meg I think just for suffocation risk I know they have holes but yeah or may encourage some cats more 🤷🏼♀️xx

Does anyone know if there's a moses basket cover
@Bethany thank you! I looked at this, it's in my Amazon basket, not sure if it would fit on the snuzpod, will need to measure! X
@Jessica I wish I could lol! We've tried keeping them downstairs and they know how to open the bloody doors 😂🤦♀️ think I'll try the foil trick x
@Jessica honestly they're menaces 😂 thank you, hopefully they'll be good babies and just behave 😬! X
@Bethany thank you so much! And congrats to you too 🥰 c
This is such a helpful thread, my female cat is so bonded to me and sleeps in my bed every night. We had been planning on locking her in a room downstairs and making it into her little space but I feel terrible about it. Didn’t even know things like this existed so will defo be looking into it xx
Hi we have three cats, I couldn’t find one that looked safe and would not buckle so I trained the cats not to go in the babies stuff by putting foil in 🙊 gave my poor babies a bit of a scare but they never went in any of the babies things after that x
@Kim I think I'll try this for sure. We have an orange girl who's an absolute knob at times 😂 so I hope that deters her lol x
@Meg 😂😂😂😂 cats are aren’t they 😂🙊 mine never stayed in the same room til baby was much older and stopped squealing ha x
Aww so cute! Following for the tips 😊
