@Alicia thank you! I thought I had read not to use applicator just wanted to double check. So have a ‘pre wee’ before inserting 🤣 Thanks so much xx
I used the applicator but this was very early on in my pregnancy and I was constantly needing a wee through the night and it defo stayed in like it's supposed to I think it can only fall out if it's not inserted in far enough xx
I had thrush @ 5w…. I used the applicator… however I’m also on progesterone which I have to use with an applicator daily. In about 20-30 min it should dissolve and just lay down for a bit after you’ve inserted it. Tmi but so tired of things having to go up there everyday! 😢
@R thank you! Ahh I bet, that sounds awful to do everyday 😖🥺 x
I had a chronic Y.I. during my second trimester and I used Boric Acid one to two nights in a row, and it cleared it up very quickly for me. I used it despite the recommendations not to use it- I am well and the baby is well, too. Hormonal changes make thrush more common during pregnancy but diet plays a huge role as well, try eating raw garlic before every meal on an empty stomach to help kill overgrown Candida bacteria. Apple cider vinegar is also good on an empty stomach and helps with Candida, acid reflux/heartburn too
I got prescribed clotrimazole by the hospital at 39 weeks and was told it was fine to use the applicator 😊 they also said don’t go for a wee for an hour after inserting xx
I got told not to use the applicator as you can insert it to far and it can cause harm to baby, so had to use my fingers instead! I think once it’s been in for 20/30 minutes or so it shouldn’t fall out! X
