@Anu a lot of people have asked this question and there's tons of guidance online, including from NHS and from qualified IBCLC's on Instagram. Yes, if the child is formula fed and is showing signs of dehydration. Not for breastfed babies and, if combi-fed, offer more breastmilk, not water.

@Anu your milk will change with babies needs, so will naturally water itself down with the heat. That's why breastfed babies don't need water x
Unlike milk, sterile water doesn't go off, and doesn't have live bacteria cultures. So I'd say 24hrs, but baby would probably appreciate 12hrs
