Kendamil constipation

My baby struggled with Kendamil vomiting everything up, we changed to aptamil and it’s been great! Xx

The ready made formula of kendamil (the little bottles) apparently have a laxative in them I was told yesterday, I currently only give them to my 5 week old at the moment and he poos fine but when I start using the powder tub I will keep these spare so every other day I can give him one to help him go x

My little girl would throw her legs up all the time and be up through the night in pain and uncomfortable during the day. Watching her strain and be in pain everyday was heartbreaking so I brought it up with my health visitor who told me it was normal and stay on the same milk. Went with my mum instinct and changed from Kendamil yesterday. She has gone for a lovely poo already this morning and is burping after feeds better. She is much more settled today as well. Kendamil is a great milk but like all milks it’s just not suited for some x

@Juliette ok this gives me some hope the health visitor came out this morning and sent me to GP cos she’s just been screaming they gave her a laxative but I think I’m going to change milk too tbh what did you change it to?xxx

I had the exact problem. I changed to cow and gate and my little one has been regular and burps really well off it! I think with formula it’s difficult because it’s scary to change it and you don’t know if a new one will be better but it’s the best thing we did 😊
