Baby turned around grabbing monstera plant and took a bite. I don’t think he swallowed it as he sort of pushed out his mouth onto his lip and I grabbed it and checked for more. I can’t see any missing off the plant but do see dribble on it
I don’t know if I should call someone? Like who? Hospital? I know if ingested it’s poisonous:( I don’t think he swallowed it. It was the first time he’s ever gotten onto all fours and turned around and ir happened so fast

@Summer thank you! I’ve checked the plant and think that only a tiny piece is missing which I pulled out his mouth and so I don’t think he swallowed I’ve washed his mouth out best I can and monitoring him now. He’s chewing on a flannel I used to wash his hands and mouth area lol x
Yeah you’ve done all you can! I know it can burn their mouth if properly chewed but of course you’ll know if he’s in pain! Any doubts I’d call them to be safe but they’ll most likely just get you to monitor him x

I think you’ll notice any symptoms if he gets a reaction so just keep an eye on him especially his mouth area. If he gets agitated/shows he’s in pain or has any redness or swelling then definitely call 111 x
