MAM bottles in the microwave

We had to buy a bigger microwave as the mam steriliser wouldn't fit in ours 🙈 I'm assuming the big bottles wouldn't have either bit I never tried x

I had this! I cold water sterilise mine currently...

@jordan what a nightmare, a new microwave was the last thing I thought we would need to buy after having a baby 🤣 x

I'm using Milton cold water Steriliser (still on small bottles atm but prevents it later haha)

I moved to the cold water steriliser. Which I now love and wish I'd discovered years ago. We could get the steam steriliser in with a teeny gap but the microwave was overheating. The anti colic bottles fit but we bought some 11oz mam ones that dont fit with the lid on 🙈

Yep! We swapped our microwave with my mums as she had a taller 1 x

we have to tilt ours a bit to fit them in but then they fit perfectly fine, i was worried about getting a new microwave too haha x

Thanks ladies, I bought a cold water steriliser for holiday so I’ll see how we get on with that before buying a new microwave! X

I take the lids off before putting them in then like slide the lids onto the bottle whilst in the microwave. My in laws have a smaller microwave too so just took the plate out when using theirs x

I tilt mine to put them in x

I use the Milton cold water steriliser which is super easy ☺️

@Lydia I know I couldn't believe it when I brought the steriliser, I never though to check the size 🙈

I know this sounds a bit silly but have you tryed putting them in without the lids and then putting the lids on when they’re in there ? I used a microwave that was super small the other day and they didn’t fit so indid that and realised the microwave is bigger inside than what the actual door is x

@Sophie yes annoying they fit in the door perfect but they lid is touching the top of the microwave! X

Take the lid off it fits in then pop it back over once it's in

Is it for the sterlizing part or the warming up part cuz the lid should be of to warm them up and for sterlizing the teat and ring should be inside the bottle at the bottom and only the lid sits on the neck

@Heidi it’s for sterilising, it fits through the door fine but hits the top of the microwave once in and they get stuck
