Which Car Seat are you going for? Cybex or Maxi-Cosi?

Currently trying to finalise our travel system bundle and torn between the Maxi Cosi Pebble 360 Pro or the Cybex Cloud T? Possibly leaning towards the Maxi Cosi but not sure. The deals for both seem very similar. Would love to hear what everyone else is going for and how you made your decision?

We are literally undecided between the two.

Cybex, but purely because it came with the cybex travel system! Hadn't thought about it otherwiss

Had the same decision between the two, but we are going for the cybex because of the lay flat feature for slightly longer journeys x

We went for cybex, has so many great features like the lie flat feature! Definitely Recommend x

@Lara @Ellé Are you using the Cybex Cloud T? I read online it was "near flat" but apparently maxi cosi was full lie flat but haven't seen them both to check. X

Cybex, had a demo at the baby show and the lay flat feature is fab

@Rachel I’ve gone for the cybex cloud Z I-size, I was given a demo which showed a complete lie flat feature when attached to the pram or outside of the car but a semi lie flat while in the car on the base xx

I considered getting the Maxi Cosi but in the end went for the Cybex Cloud Z2 i-size. There are some good deals on it at the moment, and it lays flat perfectly adequately. When it came down to it, I preferred the lay flat in the Cybex vs. the Maxocosi ( even though the MC claims to be very slightly deeper).

I went for the pebble 360 pro because of the lie flat and 360 feature. Plus it seemed pretty light and easy for my to carry after baby comes! I didn’t look at the cybex though so can’t help with a comparison!

@Rachel I’ve got the Z i-size also

Hi ladies, Do they both have the 360 functionality? How do I know the ones that don’t have it? I have found some deals online for travel systems but what to make sure the car seats can lie flat and turn 360. Please advise xx

We bought the cybex cloud z2. We wanted this regardless of travel system as can fit on multiple frames with adapters. We bought a cybex pram so it came with. Loved the lay flat feature. And the higher safety rating. Check out Facebook group car seat safety UK x

Oh amazing! I didn't even know there was a Facebook group for this! Thanks @Hayley 👍🏻 @Ellé @Amina @Amy @Hayley Is the Z2 the same as the T or what are the main differences I wonder?

@Rachel I'm not actually sure if they are the same to be honest.

Second the car seat safety group! Give the best advice depending on how big or small your LO is going to be. Maxi cosi cabriofix is recommended! I have the pebble plus 360 and it was perfect for my small baby so will be using this again! The lay flat features aren't completely flat so you still have to stick to the 30 min rule and rear facing is much safer x

@Rachel From what I can tell, the T has slightly improved ventilation/ fabrics. Tbh when I was looking at them in store no one mentioned this to me! All the nuances are super confusing 🤯.

I went cybex as was told they test them to a slightly higher level x

@Sarah yes u went for 360 its the base you buy for it which allows it to move x

We had the Cybex Cloud Z with our last baby (11 month old) and we loved it, the lie flat is great.. as you are not supposed to have babies in the car seats for long, that feature is a game changer! The new one Z2 can also lay flat in the car. We will be using the one we have this time again, it also looks so nice and stylish!
