1 year old refusing to eat

Hi everyone, i need some advice . My 1 year old girl refusing to eat anything except fruit yogurt, cheese sticks or garden peas. When she was younger i used to give her purée of meat and veggies, she liked it. Anything i am trying to feed her with spoon she refuses straight the way doesnt even taste it, however even i let her to mess around and eat herself she barely put anything in the mouth. I am afraid she will start loosing weight or wont get enough nutrition. In this case i am delying and still giving her baby formula 2-3 times a day, as she dont like milk either. Does anyone else has this problem? Any advice? Thank you !

maybe she’d like a better variety of foods. my 1 yr old started eating better when i made meals look cute and fun to eat. try making fun shaped sandwiches or a pancake with a happy face on it!

Have u tried elbow Mac and cheese or chicken nuggets

I was told that there are some days that your child won’t eat n if that happens they need to stay hydrated they will eat if they are really hungry but my son he’s 2 an he’s very picky

@Maggi Havent tried mac and cheese yet, but i dont know if its a coincidence , but everytime i tried to give her chicken she is not well afterwards. Do you make the nuggets yourself?

@Starr I try to give her something new every few days, she is not very keen on trying new things . the happy face idea sounds good. She used to like pancakes as long as its mixed with strawberries, however today she just picked them out and left the pancakes 🥹🥹

@Dovi 🇹🇷🇱🇹🇬🇧 i’m going through the same thing. my pediatrician told me something that helped me feel a little less worried, she said it’s up to you what you offer them but it’s up to them what they eat. just continue to give her nutrient rich foods & let her lead the way. (toddler charcuterie plates have been my go to for lunch& dinner for the past month)

We had a tough time transitioning to milk and solids foods! I kept the formula for a while because I also worried about the nutrition. As she started eating better food, she still refused milk. I eventually had to mix small amounts of milk into the formula to get her used to the taste and gradually added more milk until finally she liked it!
