Nighttime temperatures

My LO is aslee in bed. I’ve just been to check on him and his gro egg says it’s 26 degrees Celsius in his room. I don’t want to wake him as he’s shattered. He’s wearing a sleepsuit and nappy. I’ve opens his window to let some air in but now I’m terrified that he will be too hot and he will get sick or die because it’s too hot. Please someone give me some advice. Will he be okay 😭 or do I need to take his sleepsuit off? He’s 14 months by the way.

I'm sitting up now with the same worry, skeepsuit and a nappy will be fine, mines in a short sleeved vest with a 1 tog growbag and our room says 25 so I'm wanting to take the growbag off, but the back of his neck is not clamy so think that's a reliable way of telling if there too hot

I’d take the sleep suit off! My baby is 3 weeks and I’ve woken her up to undress her only to leave her in her short sleeve vest!

@Rebecca @Yaren @EMMA my only concern is that I’ve checked the weather through the night and it’s going to drop to 17 degrees and with his window and doors open air is circulating so now I’m like well will he get too cold later on 😭

@Sophie Jade don’t leave him in just a nappy for sure! I’d say keep a layer on him whatever it is but one layer should be fine. Whatever that is vest or lightweight sleep suit etc!

@Yaren he has a cotton sleepsuit and that’s it, mo blankets or sleep bag

My LO is 4 months and it’s 25 degrees in my bedroom. She’s wearing a sleeveless romper and a 1.0 tog sleeping bag.

My little one is 9m and was in a sleeveless vest last night. She had a sleeping bag of 1.5 tog on for a while but woke up at 2 wet through & crying cos she was roasting. Just in a vest the rest of the night

You’ve opened the windows, he will be absoloutely fine. My boys room is consistently about 27 degrees atm
