Ms Rachel

Is Ms Rachel actually good for babies as in teaching them or is it just like watching any other baby programme? I let my baby watch ms Rachel a lot at 5 months but worry if it’s bad as too much tv time or if it’s actually educational so is helpful

Well I would say limited tv time to Ms Rachel is good.. my sons 13 months and knows how to sign a few things

100% My LO started watching her at 8 months old and started learning new words pretty quickly. She’s now 18 months old and she comes out with the funniest things which is all learnt off the miss Rachel episodes. She also signs loads, so she will sign thank you, please, more milk and a few other things, and knows all the dance moves to a few songs 😛 We don’t let her watch much, literally miss Rachel, pepa pig and Teletubbies x

It’s praised by speech therapists and inspired by her own child’s struggles. My girl is 16 months and knows numerous bits of sign language and engages with her. She dances to her and plays peekaboo. She’s learnt animal noises and whilst she doesn’t have all the words yet she understands the instructions. She looks at me and dad when she says mama and dada. She finds her grown up and gets icky sticky perfectly x

My little girl has learnt so much from watching miss Rachel. I have no problem with her having screen time as everything she watches she’s learning from it

At 5months not sure it makes such a huge difference. Screen time is screen time Id say. But for toddlers- absolutely! Ms Rachel is amazing. Our daughter has learned so much from her show as have we!

I would say yes. We speak to our son and play with him all the time but he seems to learn more from moss Rachel than what he does from us 🙈. She taught him how to clap, sign “more”, scream at row row row your boat and say mama.

Oh amazing love the feedback! Thankyou xx

Love Ms Rachel, and I even think it's just as good for the parents too. It basically teaches you how to play with your child in a way that helps them to learn
